- Organiza: URE Málaga (EA7URM); manager: EB7HAF.
- Periodo: Primer fin de semana de abril (días 3 y 4 en 2010), desde las 14:00 UTC del sábado hasta las 14:00 UTC del domingo.
- Participantes: Podrán participar todos los radioaficionados que dispongan de la correspondiente autorización para trabajar en las bandas en que concursen.
- Frecuencias: Las recomendadas por la IARU en cada modalidad (SSB y CW), tanto en 50, 144, 430 y 1200 MHz como en las bandas superiores a 1200 MHz.
Bandas por encima de 1200. Se acepta, a título experimental y con el fin de animar el trabajo en estas frecuencias.
Los participantes en las mismas tendrán una clasificación separada dentro del Combinado y del Campeonato, ésta servirá para competir en el Diploma de Bandas Altas. - Ámbito: Internacional.
- Categorías:
- Estación fija.
- Estación portable monooperador.
- Estación portable multioperador.
En las bandas de 144, 430 y 1.200, las estaciones serán clasificadas por banda y categoría a efectos del Campeonato URE.
En las bandas superiores a 1200, a título experimental, se puntuará aparte y como Diploma de Bandas Altas. No es necesario que el corresponsal aparezca en dos listas.
Las estaciones móviles serán consideradas estaciones portables y deberán operar siempre desde el mismo QTH, en coherencia con la base del punto 9.
Toda lista que no especifique claramente la categoría en la que participa se considerará nula a todos los efectos no tomándose en cuenta de ninguna forma para el cómputo global del concurso.
Únicamente en el caso de estaciones portables multioperador se podrán utilizar indicativos diferentes para cada banda. - QSO: Sólo se podrá contactar una vez con la misma estación por banda. Los contactos vía satélite y repetidores no serán válidos.
- Intercambio: Por cada banda, se pasará el control de señal (RST), numeral empezando por 001 y WW Locator completo. Aunque no se mencione, es obligado anotar la hora de contacto en UTC, así como pasar “/p” o “/distrito” en el caso de estaciones portables.
- Multiplicadores: Serán considerados como multiplicadoras cada uno de los distintos QTH locator conseguidos durante el concurso, entendiéndose como QTH locator los 4 primeros dígitos del WW Locator (JN12, JM08, IN80 etc.). Una misma estación no podrá cambiar de QTH locator durante el transcurso del concurso.
- Puntuación del Concurso y del Diploma: En todas las bandas la puntuación se calcula en base a un punto por kilómetro, multiplicado por la suma de los diferentes locator trabajados. Las estaciones que trabajen en múltiples bandas han de enviar log separado por cada banda.
Para el Diploma Bandas Altas. - Listas: Sólo se admitirán listas en formato electrónico. Los ficheros será obligatorio enviarlos en formato Cabrillo y obligatoriamente se deben enviar por correo electrónico a la dirección:

Se acusará recibo de las mismas a la dirección E-mail desde donde fueron enviadas.
No se admitirán listas en papel ni en cualquier formato que no sea el indicado. Las listas deben de estar en poder de la organización en un plazo de 10 días después de la finalización del concurso. - Verificación de listas: Para que un contacto sea considerado válido, cuando una de las estaciones no manda lista, esta segunda estación debe aparecer por lo menos en dos listas. En el Diploma Bandas Altas no se exige esta condición.
- Premios: Se otorgará un trofeo al campeón absoluto por bandas en 50-144-432 y 1296 MHz
- Descalificaciones:
Podrán ser descalificados aquellos operadores que:
a) La organización podrá descalificar aquellas estaciones que en el transcurso del concurso impidan a otros competidores la participación normal en el mismo, con cualquier tipo de incorrección.
b) En el caso de inventarse un QSO.
c) En ausencia del cálculo de cada parcial del QRB de cada QSO y / o del QRB total.
d) Si no cumplen con la normativa a la que le obliga su licencia y/o autorización. - Resultados y reclamaciones: Una vez publicados los resultados provisionales en la Web de la Unión de Radioaficionados Españoles http://www.ure.es y en http://www.ea7urm.org , se dispondrá de 5 días para posibles reclamaciones, transcurridos los cuales los resultados serán definitivos y por tanto inapelables.
- La participación en el concurso supone la total aceptación de las presentes bases. Cualquier circunstancia no reflejada en estas bases será competencia de la organización del concurso cuyas decisiones finales son inapelables.

EUROPEAN EME CONTEST

sponsored by DUBUS and REF CW / SSB only The European EME contest is intended to encourage world-wide
activity on moonbounce. Each different call prefix forms a
multiplier. First weekend March 20 / 21 00 - - 24 UTC 3.4 GHz - CW/SSB
Second weekend March 27 / 28 00 - - 24 UTC 144 MHz & 10 GHz + up - CW/SSB
Third weekend April 17 / 18 00 - - 24 UTC 2.3 GHz - CW/SSB
Fourth weekend April 24 / 25 00 - - 24 UTC 432 & 5760 MHz - CW/SSB
Fifth weekend May 22 / 23 00 - - 24 UTC 1.2 GHz - CW/SSB
QRP 144MHz <100kW EIRP 432MHz <400kW EIRP 1296MHz <600kW EIRP
but no separate QRP/QRO categories
QRO On 144, 432 and 1296MHz, stations with EIRP equal to or greater than stated above.
CW/SSB All QSOs in CW and/or SSB mode – no other modes used
MULTI Multi-OP is >1 OP – but no separate category
Multi-operator and QRO stations will be highlighted in the general classifications. All QRP/QRO band
winners and QRP/QRO multiband winners will receive a year's free subscription to DUBUS magazine.
The multiband section contains weekends 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. In each band/section certificates will be sent to
the first 10 places.
3.1 For the purpose of the contest only one scoring per valid QSO with the same station can be logged in
each band.
3.2 During the European EME Contest dates & times, communication via the Earth-Moon-Earth path is
the only type of communication permitted by participants and stations worked.
3.3 During Contest time, it is not allowed to use other communications medium such as internet or
packet radio, to self spot, announce CQ frequency, make skeds, exchange any QSO progress info,
confirm whether the QSO was valid or not.
3.4 Spotting other stations for activity reasons, is permitted.
3.5 If stations participating in the Contest choose to use ‘real time’ communication outside the Earth-
Moon-Earth path so as to solicit contacts for themselves, they are permitted to do so, only outside their
Contest participation time. In such a case, re-entering the Contest for the remaining of their respective
weekend, moon time, is not allowed.
3.6 Stations participating in the Microwave bands (2.3GHz and above) are permitted to announce their
time plan of proposed band segment activity, during times when they have no moon visibility.
3.7 Stations deviating from the rules are not eligible to submit logs for the European EME Contest.

For a valid EME QSO, both stations must have copied all of the following:
4.1 Both callsigns from the other station
4.2 Signal report from the other station (using TMO procedure or RST)
4.3 R, from the other station, to acknowledge complete copy of 4.1 & 4.2
Logs must be separate for each band, and should be in normal "logbook" format.
Top line: Your callsign, Band
Each QSO: Date/Time, Callsign, Report sent, Report received, Points, Multiplier
Bottom line: Total points, Total multipliers, Total claimed score.
100 points for each random QSO completed on 144/432/1296MHz.
10 points for each sked QSO completed on 144/432/1296MHz.
100 points for each random QSO completed on 2.3GHz or higher bands.
50 points for each sked QSO completed on 2.3GHz or higher bands.
Each different call prefix is a multiplier (e.g. DL1, DK9, SM2, S51, S54, G6, KM5, W5, JA6, VK4, WA6,
K6, PA1, PE1, etc). See example of WPX Contest rules for further details on prefix multipliers.
Single band score = [Total of QSO points] * [Total of multipliers].
There will be one QRP winner and one QRO winner on each band.
Multiband score = [(Total sum of points on 144-1296MHz) +
(2 * total sum of points on 2.3GHz or above)] * [Total sum of multipliers on all bands]
Multiband stations will also be listed as an entry on each separate band worked, and can also win singleband
awards.
Copy of the log for each band with details of points, multipliers and total points.
The following information MUST also be included for each band:
1. Output power, transmit cable loss, antenna type and gain
2. Categories: QRO/QRP - single/multi operator
3. Start time and end time of Contest participation time
4. Name(s) of all operators
5. Grid locator.
Other info is welcome: Comments, conditions, station details, photographs, etc.
Contest entries MUST be sent no later than 20 days after the end of the last contest weekend (i.e. in the
mail or e-mail by 12 JUNE 2010).

The Bavarian Contest Club (BCC) invites all active meteor scatter enthusiasts to join the MS contest hold during the Geminids shower 2009. The aim of the contest is to generate more activity on the random frequency and make MS random operation more popular. It will also provide interesting information about MS propagation at various times of the shower. And it will give the little pistols a chance to work the big guns, who are usually just out for square hunting. | Contest period: | 11 December 2009, 20:00 UTC to 15 December 2009, 02:00 UTC. | | Mode: | CW and / or WSJT. | | Participation: | Category I: Mixed Single Operator,
Category II: Mixed Multi Operator.
During the contest it is allowed to change the QTH to another grid square. In this case the same station can be worked again. The new QTH must be indicated by the callsign (e.g. OH2AV, OH0/OH2AV). You can take part in HSCW as well as in WSJT, but you have to mark each QSO with the mode (CW/WSJT). Sked QSOs do not count for the contest ! QSOs confirmed via Packet Radio or Internet do not count for the contest! | | Frequencies: | CW: It is recommended to use the frequency range from 144.095 to 144.105 MHz for CQ calls using the IARU Region 1 procedure (letter system). There are no frequency limits. If there is no clear frequency between 144.100 to 144.126 MHz, then please try to use a "Extended Letter System" (i.e. CQ "AA" = TX-QRG + 27KHz, CQ "BB" = TX-QRG + 28KHz, CQ "CC" = TX-QRG + 29KHz...).
WSJT: It is recommended to use beside the frequency 144.370 MHz also 144.350 for CQ Calls. Alternate to the IARU Region 1 procedure you should use the „BCC-procedure" with two or three numbers of your operating QRG (i.e. „CQ 68" or „CQ 368" means, that your operating frequency is 144.368 MHz ). | | Exchange: | Full callsigns, reports and final rogers. | | Scoring: | A complete random WSJT MS QSO counts 1 QSO point.
A WSJT random MS QSO achieved using the letter or BCC system counts 3 QSO points.
A complete random HSCW MS QSO counts 2 QSO points.
A HSCW random MS QSO achieved using the letter or BCC system counts 6 QSO points.
You can work a station one time in CW and one time in WSJT (exception: change of QTH.) | | Multiplier: | Sum of different prefixes worked. Prefixes are defined according to WPX rules (Example: DL5, DL1, DJ8, DA0, DF9, I2, IK2, IW2, IT9, EA3, EB3, RK2, W7, WB7, PA0, PA3, S51, S53 are different prefixes). | | Final Score: | Total QSO points times multiplier.
Example: 10 HSCW and letter system QSOs give 60 points, 15 WSJT letter QSO´s 45 points and 10 WSJT Random QSOs 10 points, together 115 points. You worked in CW and WSJT 20 different prefixes. Final result: 20 x 115 = 2300 Pts. | | Logs: | The following data must be included:
Operator's name, category, callsign, address and QTH locator.Multi OP stations list all operators. For each QSO: date, time in UTC, worked station, report sent and report received and mode (CW/WSJT) must be given. Mark all QSOs which were conducted using the IARU-Region-I letter system. Also technical data about equipment and antennas used should be stated.
Deadline is 31st December, 2009 (postmark).
